     I hope everyone had a fun "Labor Day"!  You know SOS is right around the corner when we have our September party and I know everybody is excited about going to the beach.

     Our good friend Jr. Norfleet will be our DJ this month.  I know Jr. will do a great job,  as he always does .  Joyce and Don Smith will be the dance lesson instructors which will start at 7:00 PM.

      This party will be your last chance to buy SOS Fun Monday tickets.  See Khrissa for these.  A couple things to remember if you are going to SOS - Gaston Shaggers' Tea Party will be at the Arcade, the lst Sunday of SOS,  September 19th, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.

And the next thing --  be careful  at Fun Monday activities, especially with your drinks.  NMB police are very tolerant with shaggers - but to a point.  So be careful and use good judgment.

     Be sure to turn in you “Chicken Pickin" Raffle Tickets stubs.  If anyone needs more tickets, contact me.

     WE NEED DOOR PRIZES for the Chicken Pickin'!!  If you know of any who will donate  something,  please ask them.  And, if anyone would like to donate a prize, that would be great.

     Khrissa has ladies T-shirts for sale, and she also has silk shirt for the guys - Tommy Bahama style.  Great looking shirts - see Khrissa.

     Lynn's Dance Club will have Gaston Shaggers' Appreciation Night on Friday, October 22nd. All Gaston Shaggers will be admitted free by showing your Gaston Shaggers Membership Card at the door.

  There will be drink specials all night, hotdogs with all the trimmings, hors d'oeuvres as long as they last, and a special presentation to The Gaston Shaggers by Lynn's owners, Bill and Kitten. Jr. Norfleet will be the DJ.  Mark your calendars.  There are some flyers at the door.

     Our good friend, and member, Fred Day has had a stroke and is at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Keep Fred in your thoughts and prayers, send a card, and let him know we are thinking of him.

     We need volunteers for the Board for 2011.  Contact a Board member if you are willing to serve.

     Try to come out and help set-up the day of our party at 12:30.  All help is appreciated.
